About 2,500 students from Netanya came to Jerusalem in honor of their Bar and Bat Mitzvahs. Students from all of the city’s schools came to commemorate this special occasion, which revolves around such an important milestone. The students toured the sites of Jerusalem’s Old City and visited the Western Wall. Through their experiences they connected with the city’s history and learned about their own significant links in the Jewish Chain of Generations.

Prayers to the Western Wall from 140 countries: “For My House shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.”
Ahead of Rosh Hashanah, in keeping with tradition: Prayer notes placed between the stones of the Western Wall over the past six months have been removed and transferred for ritual burial.
