The President of the Israel, Isaac Herzog, arrived this evening at the Western Wall Plaza to pray for the well-being of the IDF soldiers and for the swift return of the captives.
President Herzog arrived this evening to pray at the Western Wall, where he lit a memorial candle for those murdered and killed in the Iron Swords War and met with bereaved families.
The President participated in a prayer in front of the Western Wall stones led by the rabbi of the Western Wall, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, for the well-being of the IDF soldiers engaged in battle against Hamas and Hezbollah and for the swift return of the captives to their homes.
The President offered a prayer for the welfare of the country, penned by his grandfather, the late Chief Rabbi Yitzhak Isaac Halevi Herzog, zz”l.
The director of the Western Wall Heritage Foundation, Mordechai (Suli) Eliav, recited a prayer for the well-being of the IDF soldiers.
