The Deputy Prime minister of Albania and the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Ms. Belinda Balluku, came to visit and pray at the Western Wall.
She was greeted by the rabbi of the Western Wall and holy sites, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, who thanked her for the visit and for
Albania’s support of Israel.
The Deputy Prime Minister said:
Happy to be again in Jerusalem. This is not my first visit, but every time that I’m coming back I feel the energy of this holy place. I will pray today for my country, for all Albanians, for the challenges that we have in front of us. And I should say that the connection and the chemistry between Israel and Albania are very strong.
