The mayor of Miami-Dade County, Daniella Levine Cava, came to the Western Wall today with a respectable delegation and toured the new route of the Western Wall Tunnels, the Great Bridge route.
The rabbi of the Western Wall and holy sites, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, greeted the delegation, explained the importance of visiting the holy site, and told them about the deep and age-old connection between the Jewish nation and Jerusalem, a connection the Mayor was familiar with from her own home.
