It’s never too late.

With great excitement, and after some significant learning under the auspices of the Shahak Bar Mitzvah Preparatory Program, Ro’i Sahar decided to go up to the Torah and celebrate his bar mitzvah at 41.
As a child, Ro’i celebrated his bar mitzvah with the entire class on his kibbutz. Now, only months after his father passed away, he felt the need to go up to the Torah and celebrate with his family and friends. There is nowhere more suitable or that creates a stronger sense of belonging than the Western Wall.
