It’s super exciting to make the dreams of about 30 IDF disabled veterans come true.
We had the great privilege to host IDF disabled veterans from Beit Halochem in Jerusalem for an exciting, accessible tour in the Old City and the Western Wall, with the assistance of the Zahal Disabled Veterans Association.
After the tours, we gathered to hear the rabbi of the Western Wall and for a festive ceremony in the Western Wall Tunnels honoring the soldiers for their service.
Prayers to the Western Wall from 140 countries: “For My House shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.”
Ahead of Rosh Hashanah, in keeping with tradition: Prayer notes placed between the stones of the Western Wall over the past six months have been removed and transferred for ritual burial.
