Tonight the President of Poland, Mr. Andrzej Duda, visited the Western Wall accompanied by the Rabbi of Poland, Rabbi Michael Schudrich, and was welcomed by the Rabbi of the Western Wall and Holy Sites, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, shlita.
The President expressed his excitement visiting the holiest site for the Jewish people. He told the Rabbi of the Western Wall that the millions who died on Polish soil prayed to this holy site, but were not able to touch its stones, and certainly they never dreamed that one day the Polish president will be here for prayer.
