For the convenience of worshippers: Temporary changes to restroom arrangements at the Western Wall Plaza

The Western Wall Heritage Foundation announces that in the coming days, extensive renovation work will begin on the women’s public restrooms at the Western Wall Plaza, as part of an ongoing effort to upgrade and improve infrastructure for the benefit of visitors and worshippers.

During the renovation period, the following changes will take effect:

  • Following the significant renovation of the men’s restrooms over the past year, the women’s restrooms will now undergo similar work. For this purpose, the women’s restrooms will be temporarily closed, and the existing men’s restrooms will temporarily serve the women’s section.
  • Temporary men’s restrooms will be placed in the parking area at the entrance to the Western Wall Plaza, where dedicated caravans have been installed for their use.
  • As part of the renovations, comprehensive upgrades will be made to the facilities’ appearance and infrastructure, with the goal of improving accessibility and the overall experience for worshippers and visitors.
  • The Foundation is working to complete the renovations as quickly as possible, in order to restore full restroom services at the earliest opportunity.

The Western Wall Heritage Foundation thanks the public for its understanding and patience during this period and is making every effort to ensure that the work proceeds smoothly while maintaining regular activity at the Western Wall Plaza.
