Upon entering office, the newly appointed head of the Mossad, Major General Roman Gofman, visited the Western Wall this morning for prayer and reflection.
The rabbi of the Western Wall and holy sites, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, and the head of the Mossad recited Psalms and offered prayers for his success in his new role, and for the success of the State of Israel, the soldiers of the IDF, and the security forces.
At the conclusion of the visit, the head of the Mossad placed a personal note between the stones of the Western Wall and signed the visitors’ book with the words:
*”The Strength of Israel Will Not Lie!”*
