Jerusalem Day at the Western Wall is marked by three central and moving events expressing the deep connection of the Jewish people to a united Jerusalem.
This year, Jerusalem Day falls on Friday, and therefore the celebrations have been moved to Thursday.
Jerusalem Day – Evening Events:
Jerusalem Day at the Western Wall will begin at 5:00 PM on Thursday, May 14th, with the unfurling of a giant flag of the State of Israel in the center of the Plaza, attended by the mayor of Jerusalem and the rabbi of the Western Wall.
Following this, at 7:00 PM, the traditional Flag Dance Rally at the Western Wall will begin, accompanied by a live band and public figures.
These events will be broadcast live on the Western Wall website.

Boys and families stage: Agron Street opposite the consulate, near Independence Park – accompanied by Avia Sherman and his band

6:00 PM – Continuation of the Flag Dance procession toward the Western Wall through the gates of the Old City.
Jerusalem Day – Morning Events:
On Friday morning at 7:30 AM, the annual festive Shacharit prayer service will take place in the presence of rabbis and public figures.
