As part of her visit to Israel, the senior adviser to President Trump in the Office of Western Hemisphere Affairs, Ms. Viviana Bovo, arrived at the Western Wall for a visit and prayer.
She was welcomed by the rabbi of the Western Wall and the Holy Sites, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, who thanked her for the clear support of the United States for Israel and for her firm stance against antisemitism in Israel and around the world.
During her visit, the adviser offered a prayer for the success of the administration and for peace among nations, toured various sites in the Western Wall Tunnels, and visited the new exhibition, Gateway to Heaven, which was recently opened to the public at the Western Wall. She also signed the visitors’ book, writing: “We thank Israel for being a strong ally. We pray for peace and for a long-term relationship.”
