As part of his visit to Israel to promote the fight against antisemitism, the Albanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Igli Hasani, arrived this morning (Tuesday) for a visit and prayer at the Western Wall.
He was received by the Rabbi of the Western Wall and the Holy Sites, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, who explained to him the significance of the site and the longing of the Jewish people for it throughout the generations.
During the visit, the rabbi and the minister read Psalm 121 together. Afterwards, the minister offered a silent prayer beside the stones of the Wall, wrote a personal note, and placed it between the stones.
