Today at the Western Wall: prayers to the recovery of those wounded in last night’s terror attack

Names for prayers can be sent until 12 noon.

Response of the rabbi of the Western Wall, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, to last night’s terror attack against worshippers: “I am deeply horrified and pained about the terror attack against innocent worshippers who were leaving the Western Wall and King David’s Tomb. I call upon leaders of other religions to unequivocally condemn the terror attack. Prayers will be dedicated at the Western Wall today for the recovery of all those wounded in last night’s attack.”
The Rabbi added, that he supports the Israel Police and security forces and is convinced they will act to fortify security in the Old City area.

The Western Wall Heritage Foundation said they would dedicate prayers today to the recovery of those wounded in last night’s terror attack as well as in the traffic accidents and other tragedies that occurred recently. Names for prayers can be sent until 12 noon. The names will be printed and given to the minyan (quorum) that recites Psalms opposite the Holy of Holies.
