Governor Doug Ducey of Arizona visited the Western Wall. In a conversation with the rabbi of the Western Wall and holy sites, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, and the director of the Western Wall Heritage Foundation, Mordechai (Suli) Eliav, the Governor talked about his closeness with Israel and noted that this was his third visit here.
The Governor prayed for peace in the world and for the welfare of his state.

Prayers to the Western Wall from 140 countries: “For My House shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.”
Ahead of Rosh Hashanah, in keeping with tradition: Prayer notes placed between the stones of the Western Wall over the past six months have been removed and transferred for ritual burial.
