U.N. ambassadors from Europe, the United States, Africa, and Asia came to the Western Wall as part of an informational tour. They took the new tour in the Western Wall Tunnels to gain an understanding of the connection between the Jewish nation and its land, and to understand the history of the site.
The ambassadors were greeted by the rabbi of the Western Wall and holy sites, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, who expressed happiness about the initiative and called to maintain Jerusalem as a city of peace.

Prayers to the Western Wall from 140 countries: “For My House shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.”
Ahead of Rosh Hashanah, in keeping with tradition: Prayer notes placed between the stones of the Western Wall over the past six months have been removed and transferred for ritual burial.
