Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, rabbi of the Western Wall and holy sites, held a special prayer service at the Western Wall Plaza during Friday evening Shabbat prayers for the welfare of the Jews of Ukraine. Hundreds of worshippers participated. This afternoon as well, the minyan that gathers daily opposite the Holy of Holies to recite Tehillim (Psalms) will devote their prayers to peace in the world and the recovery of the wounded.
