The president of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Felix Tshisekedi, arrived this evening (Thursday) at the Western Wall for a visit and tour of the Western Wall Tunnels as part of his official visit in Jerusalem. The president was greeted by the rabbi of the Western Wall and holy sites, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz and the director of the Western Wall Heritage Foundation, Mr. Mordechai (Suli) Eliav. The president and his wife recited a personal prayer and placed a note between the stones of the Wall, and afterwards toured the Western Wall Tunnels.
