On Tuesday, the 17th of Kislev, 5778 (December 5, 2017), hundreds of students from Carmiel came to Jerusalem in honor of their bar/bat mitzvah year. The 7th Graders from all the schools in Carmiel were making this trip for the tenth year running, taking an experiential tour focused on bar and bat mitzvahs. The students visited various sites in the Old City and the Western Wall and through these historic sites, they learned about the Jewish chain of generations which they are joining as its newest links.
