New!! Western Wall stone courses that have been hidden from view for the past 1700 years are being uncovered in the Western Wall Tunnels. An ancient theater was also found under Wilsons Arch.
Time after time, amazing archeological finds allow our generation to touch the ancient history of our nation and of Jewish heritage, said Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, rabbi of the Western Wall and holy sites.
This is indeed one of the most important finds. This discovery joins many others which create a living historical mosaic of Jerusalem and the Western Wall for which the generations longed so powerfully, said Mr. Mordechai (Suli) Eliav, director of the Western Wall Heritage Foundation.
