Event of the Jewish Federation of Montreal
Today, a ceremony was held at the Western Wall Plaza by the Jewish Federation of Montreal marking 50 years since the liberation of Jerusalem.
The event began with the raising of the flag to the head of the flagpole, followed by the Rabbi of the Western Wall, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz; the Chairman of the Jewish Agency; Natan Sharansky; and representatives of the Jewish delegation from Montreal.
