Prime Minister of Romania, Mr. Sorin Grindeanu, visited the Western Wall today and was received by the Director of the Western Wall Heritage Foundation Mr. Mordechai (Suli) Eliav.
The Prime Minister recited a prayer at the Western Wall Plaza, and then visited the “Look into the Past” site — a virtual-reality experience of the Temple, and the Western Wall Tunnels — where he saw a presentation that depicts the Western Wall its immediate environment throughout the generations.
During the tour, the Prime Minister learned about the holiness of the site and Judasim’s eternal connection to Jerusalem.
The Prime Minister expressed his deep appreciation of the visit and at its conclusion, he wrote: “The experience at this holy site will remain etched in my heart forever.”
