About 500 students from Petach Tikvah came to Jerusalem in honor of their Bar and Bat Mitzvahs. This is the ninth year in which seventh grade students from Petach Tikvah schools have come to the city for this special occasion, which revolves around such an important milestone. The students toured the sites of Jerusalem’s Old City and visited the Western Wall. Through their experiences they connected with the city’s history and learned about their own significant links in the Jewish Chain of Generations.
