Following Simchat Torah, on Motza’ei Simchat Torah (Night of 23 Tishrei 5786 | October 14, 2025), the Second Hakafot at the Western Wall will begin at 22:00. This beloved Jerusalem tradition continues the festive dancing with the Torah scrolls, bringing together thousands of participants from all backgrounds in an atmosphere of joy, music, and unity.
Prayers to the Western Wall from 140 countries: “For My House shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.”
Ahead of Rosh Hashanah, in keeping with tradition: Prayer notes placed between the stones of the Western Wall over the past six months have been removed and transferred for ritual burial.
