At the Western Wall, they marked an emotional birthday for the hostage Ithai Chen held by Hamas.
Last Friday was the 20th birthday of the hostage Ithai Chen.
His family chose to commemorate his birthday specifically here, at the Western Wall, to find strength, draw courage, and offer a touching prayer for his well-being and the well-being of all the captives.
For this poignant visit, the parents of Daniel Peretz and Matan Engerst, who were also kidnapped to Gaza after spending time together on October 7, joined.
Joining the families were the rabbi of the Western Wall and the holy sites, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, and the director of the WWHF, Mordechai (Suli) Eliav, who prayed together for their speedy release from captivity and their swift return home, healthy in body and soul.
