Soldiers from the Golani brigade came to the Western Wall Plaza this morning to offer a prayer of thanksgiving and “Hagomel.” The soldiers met with the rabbi of the Western Wall and holy sites, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, who blessed them and thanked them for fighting on behalf of the Jewish nation. Together, they prayed for the success of all IDF soldiers and security forces.
Thirty-five boys and girls who lost their parents during Israel’s wars and in the current “Iron Swords” war celebrated their Bar and Bat Mitzvah this week at the Western Wall Plaza in Jerusalem.
