Three hostages released from captivity at a moving moment reciting a psalm of thanksgiving at the Western Wall

An emotional moment occurred last night at the Western Wall when Sapir Cohen, Irina Trupanov, and her daughter Yelena came to express gratitude to God for the great miracle that happened to them. They were freed from captivity after being kidnapped on Simchat Torah by Hamas terrorists.

Together, they recited Psalm 100, ‘A Psalm of Thanksgiving,’ and offered a prayer for the return of Alexander Sasha Trupanov, Irina’s son, who is still being held captive. We will continue to thank God for the miracles and persist in praying for the swift return of the remaining captives and those missing, as well as for the well-being of the IDF soldiers and security forces.

A song for a thanksgiving offering. Shout to the Lord, all the earth.
Serve the Lord with joy, come before Him with praise.
Know that the Lord is God; He made us and we are His, people and the flock of His pasture.
Come into His gates with thanksgiving, [into] His courtyards with praise; give thanks to Him, bless His name.
For the Lord is good; His kindness is forever, and until generation after generation is His faith.
