From Netivot to the Western Wall – A Touching Bar Mitzvah Celebration

“When I was lying in bed in the hospital, I couldn’t do anything. Without you, there wouldn’t have been a Bar Mitzvah here; everything that is happening here is thanks to you!”

We were thrilled to accompany the Dehbash family from Netivot, who came to celebrate the Bar Mitzvah of their son Elchanan at the Western Wall after the family’s father was injured during on October 7th – Simchat Torah. His leg was injured by a fragment of a missile that hit the synagogue where they were praying. After a month of hospitalization, they came to express gratitude and celebrate the Bar Mitzvah at the Western Wall!

Because even during a war, a Bar Mitzvah – Only at the Western Wall!
