This morning (Monday), families of victims of hostile acts came to the Western Wall for a festive and moving bar/bat mitzvah celebration.
The children and their families toured the new Chain of Generations Center and took the new Western Wall Tunnels tour.
There was not a dry eye when the families, along with Western Wall Heritage Foundation guides, went to pray at the Western Wall Plaza for peace for the Jewish nation.
Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, rabbi of the Western Wall and holy sites, said: “I bless you to not only be able to cope with the hardship and pain but to grow from it, to be better, happier, more complete. May you be privileged to get stronger and to strengthen your parents, brothers and sisters, and the entire Jewish nation. Follow the path of our patriarchs. That is the secret of the Jewish nation!”
