Throughout the year, millions of visitors and worshippers come to the Western Wall to express their personal wishes and prayers before the ancient stones. However, some people find it difficult to physically reach the Wall and touch the historic stones. For this purpose, the “Make-a-Wish Ambulance” project was established. Charitable organizations and associations regularly support adults, the elderly, and the sick by helping to fulfill their heartfelt wishes.
One such touching moment happened recently when Paul Zarbiv, a Holocaust survivor and paratrooper who took part in the liberation of the Western Wall in 1967, expressed his wish to visit the Western Wall for prayer, joined by his children and family members from across the country for this meaningful occasion.
During his visit, Paul recited a moving prayer for the safety of IDF soldiers, security forces, and the safe return of the hostages.
