Birkat Ha’ilanot – The Blessing of the Trees at the Western Wall


These days, along with the preparations for the approaching Passover holiday, it is customary to recite Birkat Ha’ilanot, the Blessing of the Trees. The blessing is said when seeing blossoming fruit trees in springtime. The blessing, recited once a year during this period, expresses our gratitude for the abundance and beauty provided to us by the Creator.
