Warriors Who Witnessed Their Comrades’ Death Arrive at the Western Wall to Draw Strength to Continue the War

After 21 of their comrades fell in Gaza, the soldiers of Battalion 8208 arrived at the Western Wall to draw strength for the continuation of the fight.

We were privileged to host reserve soldiers of Battalion 8208 who arrived at the Western Wall after fighting in the Kissufim area of the Gaza Envelope these past 4 months. They took part in the action in which buildings collapsed, and 21 soldiers, friends with whom they had fought shoulder to shoulder, lost their lives.

The soldiers came to the Western Wall as part of an “education and tradition” day of respite, to draw strength from the roots and sources of the Jewish nation, and to be refreshed for continued fighting.
