Holocaust Remembrance Day “Yom Hadhoah” 5782/2022-Bar and Bat Mitzvah for Holocaust survivors at the Western Wall

Throughout the year, we host Holocaust survivors from Israel and around the world for bar/bat mitzvah ceremonies. Those who were not able to celebrate their bar/bat mitzvahs because of the war come to the Western Wall now for these ceremonies which are incredibly moving and emotional. We listen to their stories and promise them – especially today – We will remember, and never forget!
The clip shows the bar/bat mitzvah celebration for 80 Holocaust survivors from Afula, in collaboration with the Western Wall Heritage Foundation and the Dor LeDor Association.
