Adar II – why is it a joyful month?

Because Haman cast the lot for Purim and wanted to destroy the Jewish nation specifically in the month of Adar, because the anniversary of the passing of our leader Moses is in this month. However, this is a bitter mistake, as the day of Moses’ birth also falls in the month of Adar.

Moses, our leader, is the savior of the people of Israel, who succeeded in bringing down the tablets of the covenant – the holy, ethical, and moral code by which the people of Israel have lived for generations, whose eternal resting place is here in Jerusalem, in the Holy of Holies in the Temple.

The plan of Haman – not only did it not materialize but “on the contrary, the Jews gained mastery over their enemies.”
The month of Adar turns darkness into light, downfall into revival, destruction into building, and sorrow into joy.

May it be the divine will that this Adar, everything will turn for the good, and together with Israel, with all the wounded and captives, IDF soldiers and security forces, we will transition from mourning to celebration and from sorrow to joy!
May it be a happy and blessed month!
