This morning, a woman doing her national service on Long Island, through the Jewish Agency, arrived at the Western Wall with notes written by children studying in Jewish schools there.
The children drew pictures and wrote their dreams and heartfelt wishes on the notes, which were then tucked between the stones.

Prayers to the Western Wall from 140 countries: “For My House shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.”
Ahead of Rosh Hashanah, in keeping with tradition: Prayer notes placed between the stones of the Western Wall over the past six months have been removed and transferred for ritual burial.
