“And we cried out to the Lord, the God of our fathers”: In light of the difficult situation, this Wednesday evening, Rosh Chodesh Shevat, there will be a prayer gathering and outcry at the Western Wall Plaza.

In response to the Chief Rabbis’ call for a day of prayer in light of the challenging situation enveloping the people of Israel, considering the difficult reality affecting the residents of the Holy Land and the intense conflict unfolding in the south and north,
we will convene for a prayer gathering and outcry at the Western Wall plaza on the auspicious day, Wednesday, the 29th of Tevet, eve of Rosh Chodesh Shevat 5784, at 3:30 PM.
In the presence of the Chief Rabbis of Israel, the Rabbi of the Western Wall and holy sites, rabbis, public figures, and with the participation of thousands of members of Israel who will come to cry out, plead, and invoke heavenly mercy upon all of Israel, for the healing of the wounded in body and soul, for the success of the IDF soldiers and security forces, and for the safe and speedy return of the captives in peace.

And the Almighty will heed the prayer of the many.
