As part of a visit expressing support and solidarity with Israel, the speaker of the parliament of Paraguay, Raúl Lautaro Martínez, arrived this evening (Monday) for prayer and a visit to the Western Wall. He was accompanied by Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana.
During his visit, the parliament speaker toured the ‘Great Bridge’ route in the Western Wall Tunnels, receiving an explanation about the Jewish people’s connection to its capital and yearning for it throughout the generations.
At the end of the visit, they prayed together alongside the stones of the Western Wall and lit a candle in memory of those killed in the ‘Iron Swords’ war.
