Remembrance Day for Israel’s Fallen: Ceremony at the Western Wall Plaza

The official ceremony for Remembrance Day for Israel’s fallen soldiers and victims of terror will take place on Tuesday, 1 Adar (April 13, 2021) at 8:00pm.

The ceremony will be held in the presence of: The President of Israel, the IDF Chief of Staff, the Rabbi of the Western Wall and holy sites, the IDF Chief Rabbi and another 500 people, as per regulations.

Entrance for worshippers will be allowed throughout to the covered prayer area in the Western Wall Tunnels, entrance from Haguy street.

Please note that the Western Wall Tunnels sites will be closed from 12pm (except A Look into the Past which will close at 1pm).

A memorial candle will burn throughout Remembrance Day at the Western Wall Plaza.

 

On Tuesday, 1 Iyar (April 13, 2021), the eve of Remembrance Day for Israel’s Fallen, the sites of the Western Wall Tunnels will close at 12pm (except A Look into the Past which will close at 1pm).
